Deluxe Smooth Claw Thick Bowl Meerschaum Pipe – A large, thick pipe bowl is held by the smooth talons of an eagle claw. The rounded pipe bowl is mostly smooth with a pattern of round lattice carved in between the claw’s talons. The scales of the eagle claw are carved in full detail. The pipe has a light wax coating, which gives the white meerschaum pipe more of a matte finish. A brightly colored bent stem completes the claw pipe.This meerschaum pipe is hand-carved from genuine 100% solid block meerschaum, and it is imported directly from central Turkey. After carving the pipe, it is dipped in beeswax to provide a protective coating, which also helps to draw out smoke particles and tar. The pipe will change color over time as it is smoked.
